Is this a good laptop?
I'm planning on buying this HP laptop tomorrow. I will use Adobe Photoshop and the Sims 2 on it, and am planning on buying the Sims 3 later. How decent is this laptop? 10pts to best answer!

Oh, and I'm getting it for $850 because it has a $50 rebate (it was $900) and I plan on buying a 3 year waranty.
Are you sure it's only $850? haha
Actually I've seen this one before. It actually is an excellent laptop and will run all three of those programs no problem whatsoever. The extra memory (4GB is above average) will help with Photoshop, and the 6MB L2 Cache will as well. I prefer Intel over AMD when it comes to CPUs but the Turion X2 is awesome and will wow you with how fast it works. The graphics card is pretty good (it sounds amazing just at first glance but it's actually a sub-$100 card that's not too far above integrated graphics). If you have Photoshop CS4 it will help speed you up because CS4 uses the CPU to make things snappier. I can tell a difference but I'm using an iMac with 256MB of graphics memory.
If you don't really care about all that then just read this: It'll work just fine for what you want to use it for
