remote mt

I got a new universal remote and programmed it to my Emerson plasma tv,after programming i tried it and it worked but i pushed a botton that says "PIP',dont really know what it means. Since then my TV gives me options to reprograme it whenever i turn it on,it shows "select language" page first and then it starts searching for channels automatically like a new tv. I have lost the manual for my TV and dont know how i can resolve this. Any help please???

PIP is picture in picture. As to your problem, do a google search for "emerson tv manual"–a lot of that stuff is available online. Maybe try just using the remote that came with the tv for a while and see if that works?
