after fixing my system my remote wire is connect to mt + postive wire will it kill any thing fuses battery alt, ect i thought remote wire is blue and red + black is - im running 2 jl audio subs 10" mono amp 800 watts 1.0 farad 4 ga wire and alpine deck in madza 626

Hooking the blue wire to 12 volts could drain your battery, not a good idea. Hook the blue wire to the amp, so that it will come on when the car is turned on. If your amp does not come on when the radio is on, then use a switch(with on side connected to a power source and the other side connected to your amp remote terminal) or connect it to a relay (that way you don't have to switch it on all the time). Heres how to hook up a relay. Get a 12 volt relay at your parts store or radio shack part # 275-241. You want a SPST (the radioshack part # is a SPDT, just use the contacts that are normally open) normally open (sometimes abbreviated NO), 1 amp relay. Connect one end of the relay coil (there should be a picture on the relay indicating which terminals are the coil, 2 of them) to the frame of the car, which is ground. Connect the other side of the coil to 12 volt switched power (when your key is turned on, either in accessory or when the car is started). Now, connect the blue wire(which should be connected to your amp, not the radio) to one side of the normally open contact. Then connect the other side of the relay contact to 12 volt side of the coil. This will provide 12 volts to the amp and turn it on when the key in on or accessory. Now, enjoy your music!

remotes standard color is blue but really it can be anything you want. You wanna have at least a switch on it or else the amp will stay on with the car off=dead battery
